Kampusiana, Jumpaonline – Komisi Pemilihan Umum Mahasiswa (KPUM) FISIP Unpas mengadakan debat calon legislatif bertajuk “Restorasi Mahasiswa: Integritas Membangun Solidaritas Untuk Kemajuan FISIP UNPAS” di Aula Suradiredja Kampus I Unpas Lengkong pada Senin, 26 Juni 2023.
Debat dihadiri oleh delegasi dari enam partai peserta Pemilihan Umum Raya (Pemira), yakni Partai Jong Pasundan, Partai Pinus, Partai Jendela Kesatuan, Partai Pasfor, Partai Kompas, dan Partai Parma. Debat dimoderatori oleh M. Rizky Yusro dengan dua panelis utama Teuku Yuliansyah dan Imam Budiaman.
Ridho Dawam Mulkillah, ketua KPUM periode 2023-2024, mengatakan, tujuan diadakannya debat calon legislatif ini merupakan rangkaian proses dari tahapan-tahapan Pemira sebagai pesta demokrasi di FISIP Unpas.
“Debat ini merupakan langkah pertama untuk menjaring isu-isu yang ada di FISIP Unpas agar nanti legislator dapat memfasilitasi ke depannya, terkait bagaimana isu-isu ini dapat terus dikembangkan dan diselesaikan,” ujarnya.
Ridho juga mengatakan, ia sebenarnya mengharapkan lebih dari setiap pemaparan materi yang dijelaskan oleh setiap partai terkait isu-isu kampus namun harus mempertimbangkan juga mengenai kapasitas dari setiap partai, dan KPUM tidak dapat ikut serta tentang isu terkait karena sebatas penyelenggara saja.
“Sebetulnya saya berharap lebih dari setiap partai dalam menjelaskan bagaimana isu-isu di kampus ya, namun kita juga melihat dan tidak bisa memaksakan kapasitas dari setiap partai. Akan tetapi, pada akhirnya kita hanya sebagai penyelenggaraan saja sebetulnya,” ungkap Ridho.
Ia juga berharap, bahwa proses Pemira tahun ini menjadi sesuatu yang dapat menghasilkan jalan keluar untuk isu-isu yang berada di FISIP Unpas dan dapat diimplementasikan oleh pimpinan baru LKM.
“Diharapkan menjadi sesuatu yang dapat menghasilkan kesimpulan lebih baik lagi dari Pemira tahun kemarin, baik secara kapasitas pimpinan LKM tahun ini maupun dari kebijakannya,” ucapnya
Rio Hermansyah, salah satu peserta, menyampaikan, setelah diadakannya acara debat legislatif, ia mulai terdorong untuk menggunakan hak suaranya dalam rangkaian acara pemira tahun ini.
“Hal ini membuat saya tergerak, karena ini bisa dibilang sebagai acuan kita untuk memilih partai mana yang memang layak untuk dipilih. Ada dari diri sendiri dan mungkin mengajak mahasiswa lain untuk bersama-sama menyukseskan acara pemira ini,” tuturnya
