Enda menjelaskan, bahwa hubungan bilateral yanpg tidak terkena tensi apapun dan tidak terpengaruh oleh tensi politik ataupun ekonomi itu adalah hubungan pendidikan dan kebudayaan. Maka dari itu bisa dibilang hubungan pendidikan dan kebudaayaan adalah hubungan yang sangat romantis dan harmonis.
“Ketika dua negara secara politik sedang terlibat konflik, akan tetapi itu tidak mempengaruhi warga nya untuk berkunjung ataupun melanjutkan pendidikan di negara tersebut adalah bukti nyata bahwa hubungan kerjasama pendidikan dan kebudayaan adalah hubungan yang paling mesra,” tutur Enda.
Enda menuturkan, meskipun kemerdekaan Singapura adalah hasil pemberian oleh Pemerintah Inggris, namun para pendiri bangsa nya punya kesadaran yang kuat bahwa ngara ini harus dibangun dengan mengutamakan pendidikan. Aspek ekonominya sangat pesat. Contohnya, saat pandemi Covid-19 seluruh warga diberikan subsidi yang merata. Serta negara ini mempunyai zero tolerance yang jika kita melanggar peraturan tersebut langsung terkena denda tanpa melihat besar kecilnya peraturan tersebut.
“Ini bisa menjadi inspirasi bagi kita bagaimana kita akan membangun negara kita melalui kemajuan pendidikan bagaimana kita membangun sumber daya manusia kita, karena contoh nya singapura yang tidak mempunyai sumber alam apapun, tetapi mereka bisa membangun negara nya sampai seperti itu,” pungkas Enda.
