Kampusiana, Jumpaonline – Kolektif Northside 193 mengadakan Talkshow dalam acara Music & Art Festival Hello World Vol.2 bertema “Sisi Utara” pada Sabtu, 11 Maret 2023 di Kampus IV Unpas. Acara ini diselenggarakan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik (FT) dan Fakultas Ilmu Seni dan Sastra (FISS), yang diperuntukan untuk seluruh masyarakat Unpas Setiabudi guna menjalin silaturahmi di lingkungan Kampus.

Muhammad Saiful Ghani, Ketua Pelaksana sekaligus Pembicara Talkshow, menyampaikan bahwa acara ini merupakan lanjutan dari acara Hello World Vol.1 yang diselenggarakan oleh Northside 193 pada Jumat, 17 Februari 2023. Banyaknya apresiasi yang didapatkan membuat Northside 193 menyiasatkan untuk mengadakan Hello World Vol.2.

“Untuk acara pertama sebetulnya iseng, jadi asal jalan dulu aja.  Ternyata di luar ekspektasi, banyak peminatnya. Jadi Vol.2 ada karena Vol.1 pernah berjalan aja gitu dan di luar ekspektasi,” jelasnya. 

Dia juga menambahkan bahwa tujuan diselenggarakannya acara ini untuk mewadahi minat dan bakat mahasiswa, serta memberikan wadah untuk mereka yang ingin menyalurkan potensinya khususnya dalam bidang seni dan musik.

“Acara ini sebenarnya berangkat dari keresahan. Kita menyadari satu hal khususnya di Kampus Setiabudi, banyak mahasiswa yang mempunyai potensi-potensi yang luar biasa, tetapi mereka gak punya wadah,” tambahnya.

Sabry Shanigia, selaku pembicara Talkshow, menambahkan bahwa acara ini juga bermaksud untuk memperbaiki sekaligus mempererat hubungan antara FT dengan FISS. Dia juga berharap mahasiswa di lingkungan Unpas Setiabudi bisa menampilkan bakatnya.

“Di Kampus Setiabudi ada dua fakultas dan ada cerita bahwa ada komunikasi yang kurang baik antara FISS dan FT. Harapannya kita bersinergi bareng-bareng dan juga event ini menjadi wadah sekaligus memamerkan karya seni mahasiswa Setiabudi,” tuturnya.
